Downstairs has a porch, sitting room and large kitchen with dining area. Fridge, freezer, washing machine and microwave are provided.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, and a bathroom with bath and separate shower. For children's safety there is a door at the foot of the stairs and a stair gate on the landing.

The cottage has a garden with seating and a washing line, which catches the sun most of the day.

The cottage is maintained to a high standard throughout and benefits from full central heating.  Gas and electricity are included. All bedding and towels are provided. We also provide a high chair, travel cot and other items; please ask. For those wanting to 'surf' we have wireless internet access; please bring your own laptop.

On arrival guests are welcomed with a number of complimentary gifts which usually include fresh flowers, wine, chocolate, fresh fruit, biscuits, tea, coffee and milk.

Easy on-street parking next to the cottage.

Fylingthorpe is 5 miles from Whitby and 16 miles from Scarborough and a good base for scenic walks or cycling, visits to local attractions or just peace and quiet. Robin Hood's Bay is half a mile or a pleasant 10 to 15 minutes walk by footpath affording stunning views over the bay to Ravenscar and Stoupe Brow.

Fylingthorpe has a family-friendly pub serving excellent meals, a Methodist Church, a village shop and a quality butcher that sells freshly baked bread and basic supplies. There is a fully equipped children's play park. The Scarborough-Whitby bus stops in the village. There is a post office and general stores nearby in Robin Hoods Bay.
